We're a homeschooling family of eight - five girls and three boys. Our children are ages 20, 19, 17, 15, 12, 10, 7, and 5. We will be living in Ireland for the next six months, and then going to Tennessee! This blog is a documentation of our travels. Enjoy!! :)

Love that you have access to the Library. Don’t envy you all moving the supplies all over Ireland with you! Everyone looks very settled in – and your planning is done for the week which is all good. Anyone speaking in a brogue yet? π L,K

No one has a brogue yet, but we are wishing we had learned some gaelic before coming! Several people said no one really speaks gaelic, but here in Dingle all the signs are in gaelic first, then english. All the locals speak it, and it is the primary language in the local schools as well. Yes, moving the supplies will be a pain! Especially that 10th grade box, it weighs a ton! But the little kids can fit everything in a backpack. Today the sun came out and it felt like spring, so we spent all morning outside instead of doing school π

What books are Kelly, Bobby and Nora reading now? Love your checklist! Looks like my classroom “To do” list!

Nora and I read together, right now it is just little books from the library. Kelly (10) and Bobby (7) are reading Harry Potter together at bedtime.

We are enjoying βfollowingβ you during your travels and adventures! We are going to start using your travels as a research opportunity to learn about the areas/places you are visiting. It looks so beautiful over there. Spring weather sure sounds lovely. It was super duper windy here today in PP and there is a possibility of some snow this weekend. Please send our love to everyone. We miss you all.

We miss you all, too! My mom said yesterday was so cold and windy! I hope the snow is just enough to play in π
